2016 you vs 2017 you ~

Almost year end now.. we are reaching the end for year 2016. Lagi 1 hari je nak masuk 2017. So, what did you achieve this year? and what is your lookout / changes / resolution (azam) for next year?

Pihak pengurusan Mega Prestima mengadakan pembentangan penambahbaikan bagi tahun 2017 utk semua department pada 2 minggu lepas. Terdapat banyak pengajaran dan pembelajaran sepanjang tempoh pembentangan tempohari. Jadi, eksekutif yg terlibat, apakah perasaan anda selepas selesai pembentangan?

Apa yg dapat saya simpulkan dpd Departmental presentation tersebut adalah, tahun 2017 adlh tahun yg mencabar bagi Mega Prestima krn kita akan berkembang maju. Spt yg selalu kita semua katakan, membawa Mega Prestima terbang ke angkasaaaa!! Selaras dgn ketinggian 'angksa' maka attitude dan work efficiency kita juga perlu selari dgn Vission Mega Prestima. Kita patut komited dalam menjayakan keberadaan syarikat spt yg En Yusoff (General Manager) katakan. Apakah Visi Mega Prestima? Menjadi No. 1 Leading OEM in the industry..

Dalam ucapan Penggulungan En Yusoff ada menyebut tentang mengorak langkah dengan pantas dan berdaya saing, kita perlu mempunyai matlamat dan hala tuju yg jelas. Dato' Faisal telah pun menetapkan hala tuju tersebut untuk Mega Prestima, maka kita sbg anggota yg mendukung operasi harus komited dalam kerja serta PDCA (Plan Do Check Action) yg biasa ditekankan oleh Dato' Faisal di amalkan dan di laksanakan. Bukan sekadar Plan di atas kertas dan di tidak di sampaikan kpd orang bawahan.

Selain dpd itu, Dato' Faisal menekankan efficiency in works. Semua orang harus perbaiki bagaimana kita melaksanakan kerja utk mencapai matlamat dan Misi Mega Prestima. Renung pd diri, apakah motivasi anda utk melaksanakan kerja anda? What could be your Drive so that you can achieve your goals for Mega Prestima for 2017.

Jangan berazam utk kurus pada setiap awal tahun dan setiap tahun azam utk kurus hanya di renew di bawa ke tahun akan datang. Jika kita tetap terus sebegitu, maka kita tidak akan berkembang sedangkan Mega Prestima perlu berkembang maju. Spt yg di perkatakan Pn Fisha pd ucapan penutup 2016, teguran yg telah di berikan, terima dgn hati yg terbuka dan mulakan tahun 2017 dgn jati diri yg baru. Ye Aku akan berubah, aku akan melakukan kerja dgn sebaik mungkin, aku akan mengikut peraturan Mega Prestima, aku tidak akan main2, aku ingin maju di dalam hidup..


Changes is necessary though changes is hard for most of us. But in order to developed, we had to change. Akhir kata, tepuk dada, tanya diri apa yg anda mahukan pada tahun 2017 nanti..

Berkongsi rezeki

" Allah beri rezeki melalui kita utk kita kongsikan dengan orang lain " - Tan Sri Mokhtar Al Bukhari

" Barangsiapa yg bertakwa kepada Allah, maka Allah akan menunjukkan kepadanya jalan keluar dari kesusahan. dan di berikanNya rezeki dari jalan yg tidak di sangka-sangka. dan barangsiapa yg bertawakal kpd Allah, nescaya Allah mencukupkan keperluanNya " - Surah At Talaq ayat 2-3

Saban tahun, setiap pekerja akan menantikan satu pemberian yg lebih drpd majikan dan menantikan berapakah lebihan yg akan dapat pada hujung tahun atau pada musim perayaan.. Lebihan tu apa? Bonusss lah!! semuanya bergantung pada kedudukan kewangan syarikat tersebut. sudah semestinya para pekerja mengharapkan yg lebih dpd majikan masing2.. Bagi Mega Prestima, selain dpd pemberian bonus, ada beberapa lagi rezeki yg di kongsi bersama..


Pemberian makanan tengahari pada minggu ke4 setiap bulan bermula Nov 2016.

Untung sangattt di sponsor makan tengahari selama seminggu pada hujung bulan. kita semua sedia maklum, zaman sekarang memang masing2 sedikit 'tight' perbelanjaan krn kenaikan harga sejak kebelakangan ini yg bisa membuat poket rabak jika perbelanjaan tidak di kawal dgn baik. duit makan yg sepatutnya di guna pakai pd minggu tersebut boleh cover perbelanjaan lain!!

Bukan selalu dapat makan dekat Hotel kan..
Bukan selalu juga kita dapat mintak boss Dato' Faisal utk makan di hotel kan? bukan setiap bulan kita dapat. Setahun sekali pun sangat bermakna sebab makanan dkt Hotel Traders tu sangat sedap especially Alaska Crab dia. pada masa terluang begini juga kita dapat berbual ringan selain dpd hal kerja. 

Pemberian sumbangan tahunan kepada rumah anak yatim yg terpilih

Pada tahun ini, rumah anak yatim dan fakir miskin Murad Foundation di Ampangan menjadi pilihan Mega Prestima bg menyalurkan sumbangan. Dato' Faisal amat menitikberatkan sumbangan yg di berikan di manfaatkan dgn sebaik mungkin oleh rumah anak yatim tersebut. jika kita dapat menyelami perasaan mereka, pasti kita akan berasa sedih dan simpati dgn mereka. dengan sedikit rezeki yg di kongsikan moga seluruh keluarga Mega Prestima di berkati rezeki dan di murahkan lagi rezeki olehNya. 


       Jika tidak banyak yg di berikan oleh majikan kita, sekurangnya sedikit rezeki di berikan dan di kongsi bersama itu patut kita syukuri dan kita sebagai pekerja dapat bekerja dgn lebih baik dan mendoakan kesejahteraan seluruh ahli keluarga Mega Prestima dan moga kita akan terus bekembang maju. So, tahun ni Mega Prestima dapat Bonus tak? Nak tau takkk? Hehe.. saya dah tau dahhh..

Orang Kuat / Orang Lama di Mega Prestima ~

      
      When I first came in to Mega Prestima, I did not have any expectation other than I hope I can fulfill my job requirement and help the organization as a full to ease the operation. As of to date, it has been more than 3 years for me. For executive, I am one of the seniors who has been with Mega Prestima during our expanding years. Another one is Pn. Noorhafishiah Bt Abdul Wahid (Pn Fisha). She started just like me as an executive and climb the rank to Factory Manager now.

      She was Quality Assurance Executive before this and oversees quality aspect of the whole operation. When Mega Prestima first applied for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Pn Fisha was the one who is responsible in completing all the documentation and what is necessary in order for us to be certified with GMP. Fast forward few years, trusted person, hardworking and her capability made Dato' Faisal appoint her to Factory Manager. And after more than one year holding the position, Dato' Faisal is very satisfied with her work and what she accomplish in managing production and research and development. 


Us. she even has her own room now.. 

       Besides Pn Fisha, another 'oldies' in Mega Prestima is our beloved Production process person. Mohd Zawawi or know as Abe (Abang in Kelantanese). 4 years in the production, he is basically our trusted person and he has good attendance and rarely take any leave except for Hari Raya celebration hence he was awarded with Operator F8 Terbaik (factory base award) last February. Dato' Faisal throws in some cash with the award. Bestnya !!

my Workplace - Mega Prestima Industries Sdn Bhd


      Regus Research indicate that in 2014, almost half of their respondent – Malaysian workers are stressed related to their work. O M G.. even lately pun kita banyak dengar rakyat Malaysia mula jadi 'mental' due to stress. Personally, stress is normal in whatever job you are in. Jadi anak kadang2 stress dengan parents sendiri. Jadi student, pun stress dgn assignment, stress with groupwork. So when u are working, definitely the stress is there. It is all about HOW you manage your TIME and your WORKLOAD.

      Currently kita kerja dekat Mega Prestima Industries Sdn Bhd. ( I am sitting beside the General Manager. The man with grey coat) I took care everything related to Accounts. For all the time i have been working here since 2013, kita selalu perhatikan my colleague stressed dengan workload diaorg. One major I feel they lack is communication. Penting kot. Topik communication ni ada in most of subject that I took during my degree and my MBA. Organization behavior, Human Resource.. to name a few. Betapa pentingnya communication skills ni. Sometimes arahan dah keluar from Big Boss but they did not disseminate information needed to respective employees and they end up STRESS sebab it will eventually came back to them.

        Speaking of workload, semua kerja ada dateline. Manage Account department, memang nightmare to all person yg jaga bahagian accounts is month end. Time tu, semua pemilik syarikat nak kan benda yg sama. Company performance!! financial status!! very short time, all financial information Boss nak tengok. So kerja ada dateline. To Dato' Faisal, kerja yg kita buat, kena ada dateline. Quantitative!! if dia bagi kerja, u are expect to reply within specified time. Bergantung lah, bila yg kita promise as pekerja dia nak bagi benda yg dia nak. Quantitative responds ni, Dato' Faisal tekankan on Mega Prestima punya mission iaitu – CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Macamana nak bagi customer satisfied dengan service syarikat? On Time Delivery and Quick Response. Haaa tu dia. Punya lah penting dateline kerja, sebab kita nak bagi quick response to customer, so ada Quantitative responds dia. Contohnya, bila customer ada query, reply in Half an hour ke sebab ada certain things nak clarify dulu. As for me, month end memang HORROR LAH. Sebab financial statement interrelated. If kita tak setel one part, I would not be able to produce information yg Dato' Faisal request. How did I manage my workload?? Always update your accounting system. I do it daily instead of weekly. DAILY.. invoicing, purchase invois, petty cash. Yg system, yg manual. All is DAILY. So takde lah HORROR sangat Month End tu.


           So basically that is how I manage my workload untuk elakkan stress. Apart from managing work stress related, klu kerja dah banyak, rasa stress itu normal lah. Sebab penat kan. Benda yg aku dapat from Mega Prestima ni, how kita manage kita punya workload tu penting supaya all job is done and dapat meet expectation boss kita. Tp klu dalam hati kita ni, duk laaah bengang sebab kerja kita banyak, tp kita sendiri tak cuba utk selesaikan kerja yg kita ada tu, kita akan di takuk yg sama dan takkan berubah. Sendiri sebenarnya kena efficient dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan kita. Dato' Faisal paling tekankan pada pekerja dia – BEGIN END IN MIND. Apa purpose kita.. so if kita sendiri tau target yg kita nak capai, do it as diligent and hardworking and efficient, sap sap suii.. WORK STRESS related and WORKLOAD kita is manageable.. so, Gambatee!!

Who is My Role Model ??

Orang lain pilih some big shot people yg diaorang kagum. Tp kita pilih orang yg paling dekat dgn kita. Siapa? 2 orang.

  1. Father – Alias Mohd Nadzri

klu tanya adik beradik, semua pun mesti akan bagi list yg sama. Dah ayah sendiri kan. Kita tgk bagaimana dia membesarkan kita dan membangun kan keluarga dan berikan keperluan lebih dari yg cukup. Yg paling aku kagum adalah how he get his work done through people. Dia seorang yg garang. Jangan buat silap la dengan dia. His employees mana yg dah biasa dgn dia tau how far his voice would go. Hehe.. aku la tu dpt genetik dia. Not that he is some dictators and people are brushed out for nothing. If he raise his voice, so that must be you did something wrong.

Selain dpd tu, cerita cerita orang nak tikam belakang dia ni. Mcm dah jadi mainan dia. So itu membuatkan aku jadi lagi kagum dgn dia.. bukan semua orang boleh teguh berdiri after more than 30 years of working kan. Nak tepis tikaman, and to come out with a plan to make that person disabled.. haaaa macamana kan. Doa mak aku juga rasanya mainkan peranan ni..

bapak aku ni orang dia kecik je. Kata lain nya, pendek. So bila dia berdiri with some big shot people in his line of work. Dont you feel proud with it. No doctorate. He got his diploma after some people advising him to do so when I was only 2/3 years old. I am in my 30s now. He got his more than 30 years experience in the industry and people respected him for that. The other day he told us he got invited for a talk. The other panelist is some professor, PhD holders.. my father? Only Encik Alias Mohd Nadzri.


My father is on the left hand side. yang tengah tu, Orang Nismilan klu tak kenal, Please Ketuk Kepala Sendiri. hehe.. 



2) Current Boss – Dato'  Faisal Mansor (Mega Prestima Industries Sdn Bhd)

Dato' Faisal Mansor (my Current Boss) semasa hari dia dapat Dato' 

Being one of his employee yang boleh kata know of his business operations, it is impossible not to admire your own boss. I get to see how he crack his mind planning for business expansion. Kita banyak baca dan dengar business owner cakap, bukan senang nak jadi boss ni. Banyak benda nak kena fikirkan. Well, It IS !! for me, it is truly mind blowing bila baru je semalam Dato'  btau what is his plan for next month, next thing kita as pekerja ni tau, dalam weekly meeting dia sebut, dia nak bukak kilang lagi. Terkejut tauuu!! sebab tahun ni baru je beli kilang. Tahun lepas beli kilang, aihhh nak beli kilang lagiiii??? dia announce siap dah plan nak letak machine apa. Well that sounds like a complete (well almost complete) plan. His visions for his business (Mega Prestima Industries S/B) goes way ahead 5years. Cuba kita. Plan nak survive sampai hujung bulan je cemana.. kannn??hehehe..

we all know, sekarang ekonomi is hard. Business is hard. Banyak dengar pekerja kena layoff, kilang tutup. Yg ada kerja ni pun kira bersyukur dah kan. So, bukan senang ye nak jadi boss. Harap maklum. What I admire the most about Dato'  Faisal is where he envision his company going to be in next 5 years. Leading OEM in the industries. That is what he said. And I am proud to be part of his employee whereby when I first join this company, cuma ada 2 factory and now in 3 years Dato'  dah ada 11 kilang!! this is why my own boss is my role model. I hope I can work hard as he worked hard to be where he is now. I admire his thinking and his capability of running this company.
